Panic Status Board
Following closely behind the launch of Things’ Status Page, Panic revealed their newly developed Panic Status Board. Panic is known for developing great Mac applications like Coda, Transmit, Candybar, and Unison.
Panic has taken the idea of having a status page and made it into a status board for internal use. They are using a great looking Samsung display for loading the webpage. They took the idea a step further to display other helpful information like their e-mail queue, important countdowns, Mac OS server calendar, employee and @Panic twitter messages, and bus arrival times.
I feel that this is an awesome implementation of a status board and most companies would actually benefit from it. The either page is html/css and only the icons are images, beautiful. Check out their blog post for more details regarding how they accomplished it.
