Heartbeat: Project 116
2019
Project 116 is a generative art installation which explores the phenomenological concept of the physical and emotional heart. The transdisciplinary research of the heartbeat takes the artists into the fields of bioscience, cognitive neuroscience, and physiology. The artists aims to share their processes while exploring these foreign disciplines. The installation encourages the audience to participate in activities which were devised during the research process. This pedagogical framework aims to invite the audience to take on the role of a researcher and synthesise their personalised understanding of the heart.
